An emotional video has been shared by a Starbucks barista, in which he tearfully talks about his challenging workday.
The young student, who identifies as a transgender boy, explains that he had to work an eight-hour shift and found it overwhelming.
While most people work a 36 to 40-hour workweek to pay bills and gain experience, this proved to be a significant challenge for the student.
In the video, he reveals that the store’s busyness and hard work nearly led him to a nervous breakdown.
“So many customers coming in, and I have to work very hard,” he says emotionally. He mentions contemplating quitting altogether due to the job’s intensity.
“I don’t know if I can do this. It almost reached a point where I wanted to walk out. I’m in the break room crying, but I almost cried on the floor,”
